How great was that! CONGRATULATION TO FATAMORGANA!!

Even though we didn't got First, we manage to be one of the top three.Competing with many other great school.14 school to be precise.Consist of Autonomous school, independent and neighbourhood school.We got them thrashed! Moreover, we are one of the new school to join into the competition. First was St. Andrew and 2nd was Raffles instituition. And we came in third place.FATAMORGANA!

Thank for ll the great hardwork and to the supporters, Thank A lot!...

not forgetting our very own directors, MIS3 aka Cikgu Noor Hasnah Adam. We really wanna thank you!. This may be the first and the last ever WON competition.But all the memo of fata, will always last.

Pelajaran buat semua. Kekalahan di Gema Puisi Artistik 2006 telah saya jangkakan sebaik kamu semua selesai persembahan. Sebab utama kita tidak mungkin dapat tempat pertama, - Millenia Institute memberi persembahan yang mantap dan berkesan.

Sebab utama kita terus tidak boleh mendapat tempat pertama, kedua atau ketiga - Etika pelakon yang biadap.

Saya kesal perkara berkaitan etika ini berlaku. Tidak sepatutnya berlaku tetapi telah pun berlaku. Sekiranya saya sendiri menjadi pengadil, saya akan terus memangkah West Spring. - Biadap. Harap semua mendapat iktibar daripada sudut etika ini. Dan kepada orang perseorangan itu, harap menjadi lebih dewasa. Perbuatan yang bodoh, menunjukkan awak tidak menggunakan akal yang diberikan. Hanya memalukan diri sendiri, memalukan saya, memalukan pelakon-pelakon lain dan memalukan nama sekolah.

Kelemahan dan kekurangan West Spring:

1) Tiada disiplin. Para pelakon sibuk menyanyi lagu2 dari APM walaupun persembahan akan mereka lakukan lagi 10 minit. Gosip tentang perkara-perkara yang tiada kaitan. Konsentrasi tiada.

2) Tiada fokus. Sepatutnya mereka tidak bercakap langsung dan masuk ke dalam watak. Tetapi saya tidak nampak perkara itu berlaku.

2) Terlalu yakin. Para pelakon fikir mereka sudah biasa membuat persembahan, maka 'warm up' sudah tak perlu lagi. Persembahan mereka tiada kesan langsung. Suara tak keluar, tak jelas. Hambar.

3) Walaupun skrip sudah 4 kali bertukar, sebenarnya saya yakin dengan skrip terakhir. Puas. Tetapi para pelakon seperti gagal menghayati skrip. Penghayatan untuk pembacaan sajak - tiada. Tidak memberi kesan langsung kepada saya sebagai penonton.

Kekuatan West Spring:

1) Kesinambungan muzik baik. Jelas.

2) Penataan cahaya lampu berkesan.


Namun ini sahaja tidak mencukupi. Persembahan tidak mampat dan berkesan. Justeru, kemenangan bukan milik kita.

Saya terima kita kalah kepada yang lebih baik. Cuma saya kesal, Fatamorgana tidak memberikan yang terbaik tetapi mempersendakan etika dan memperlekehkan disiplin pentas.

We've come back in action. The rehearsal has been activated today, after gone for two weeks+ .Yea, everyone was so enthusiastic with the rehearsal. Practised with pride and motivation.That's what WE are!

Everyone was doing so fine and the script reading have turned to be a very good one. New and different elements have been added to spice up the Play. Theatric Play, to be precise.

Script was thoroughly finalist before it was given to Fatamorganians and that took quite a while.

Musical and Dramatic effect has been added to the different scenes to give it a better flow of story. The Songs of Art has been added in,to show the different kind of poetry used in different Era.

Youth Performance from Fatamorgana of West Spring Secondary School
The Malay Writers Force Of The 50’s or betterly known as Asas ’50 short for Angkatan Sasterawan 50 are inviting the talented youths from Fatamorgana of West Spring Secondary School to perform for the organization’s 55th anniversary celebrations at Hotel Holiday Inn Atrium on the 17th December 2005.
We are supporting them by allowing their participation to grace the historical event. In appreciating the school’s effort by exposing students to delight the Malay literary scene and enhance their talents at the same time.

Entry fees:
$30 for adult

good afternoon everyone! saya minta maaf byk-byk sebab saya tak update blog for almost 2 months. takda niat, cuma busy dan tak ada idea untuk kongsi-kongsi.

saya akan cuba upload gambar-gambar di Taman Warisan secepat mungkin selepas exams.

for those who often visit here, belajar dengan rajin dan tekun. nanti kalau fail, mak bapak will salahkan drama. terlalu committed laa, sampai tak belajar betul-betul. saya ni cakap orang ajer pandai.. diri sendiri. so, all the best people for ur exams.. insya allah, siapa tahu, kita dah pass dengan warna melayang-layang, performance kat Esplanade jadi. da jadi suatu mimpi yang nyata! insya allah.. to perform at Esplanade adalah suatu mimpi. it`s every one`s biggest wants!

kalau betul lah performance di Esplanade terjadi, hopefully we can bring down the WHOLE STRENGTH of FATAMORGANA. termasuk nizam blackmore dan juga aiin kucing shuee-ek. mungkin insya allah. termasuk si hakhim karya shas-tera.

fikir fikir, pasal GPA tahun depan, seram sejuk gak. iyalah, kalau kita confident sangat kalau kita menang.. ataupun tak ber-confident sangat. ada orang baru jugak macam raizal, nasri, ilyas and more. bt, hopefully laah hakhim will be able to perform. :)

likewise cikgu MIS3 ckp, grit, determination and commitment are the elements that we need for our success. hopefully, we are all united and won`t be enemity between each other.

The White Bold entitled 'Fatamorgana' emphasis on the purity of our Group Name,Bold adn Strength.
The Red Motto ' Where the Passion Lies' tells us that age and gender does not matter as talent shows everything.

Fatamorgana T-Shirt Design

The members of Fatamorgana did a trial on this 2 T-shirt design and we are in the process of finishing it. A logo of Fatamorgana will be placed on the top left side of the T- Shirt.
Behind of the T-shirt will be each individual names and group name.
Decided on black top, but to some circumstances, we thought of making Red n Black collared and v-neck T-Shirt as it is being conspicuous and stand out from the rest.
Red symbolises- The Unity , Determination, Grit and Win
Black symbolises- The Ferocity and Die hard for Fatamorgana
This shirt will be wore in any Fatamorgana's Special event and Practice.
All cast and crew will be wearing the collar T-shirt and as for the V-neck, it will be wore by The in Charge of Fatamorgana which is none other than Mdm Hasnah.
Will be sending the design by this week and able to collect it in 2 weeks time.
To Fatamorgana, pls kindly spare yourself $15.

i know that u kept thinking why it is always me with long long posts.

as being requested, i`m now trying my very best to update the blog.

to Fatamorgana members, please email me your picture(minimum 2). pls give ur pics which u prefer to be up on this web page. i`ll prefer it already have its own effects. and, mind if it is ur own solo picture. pls submit to me asap thru my email. sitinurnaqiah@yahoo.com.sg

otherwise, i`m currently designing the Fatamorgana t-shirt. for those who haven`t give me ur nama nama samaran, tolong berikan as cepat as possible. adding up, i would like ur t-shirt size. not to worry abt the design, i`ll put it up here by next week. to those who actually would want to contribute, do pass the design to me for consideration or we can have voting system. spare urself with atleast $15.

i hope mak tanggang can inform me when do you want a meeting to be conducted as wad u actually wanted.

i was told by a member of the organising committe of the Malam Budaya that it was actually cancelled and replaced by a carnival with malay gerai(s). nevertheless, Fatamorgana will still be performing the winning item of the GPA competition. both the wawasan and the warisan. mak, pls confirm me again kalau tk nk perform that item ataupun nak replace that item with another.

time has been becoming more and more boring without performing. i miss practising and performing.. and adding up dancing. mak, why nt we make our own production and showcase it after final year examinations. then, we can showcase our raw talents to the public. we can charge those who wants to watch, which den, we can use the money for our own fund. it`s a heck of big project and a good thing before we split up next year to our different path.

The attempt we did last Sunday, 26.06.2005 was superb. Although we received alot of positive feedbacks from the audience and our supporters, we can feel the dissappointment inside us, covering up with the smile.

They say 5th/4th runner up wasn`t bad afterall. But for my own opinion I feel we don`t deserve this cause we did so much during the holidays for just this competition. The sacrifices that Kim Possible made to fight thru the objections from his parents, where mis3 had to deal with works at school, when Blackmore had to "ponteng" school, where 4tein had to "cabut" her SJAB stuffs, when Linah had to take leave often from her work, waiting for Womad`s approval to have him out of the National Service, having Paradoxura to run away from her Student Leader Course and Aiin trying to take a leave from her work at Swensen. Look, though we all may not have given our full commitment, nevertheless, I feel the wastage for everything.

I`ve given my very best, just like the others. I do this due to my passion and likes. Cos I love my own culture. I want to feel the stage for something I would like to contribute. In other words, Dedication. I`m all out for Fatamorgana. I love Fatamorgana just like my second family after friends and family. I want Fatamorgana to live strong and well known for our interests and passion. I want it to still be alive though I am out of the school next year. I want to perform with my buddies which actually made me feel my first attempt very best.

It`s true that each of us have different interests, from different lines, cca and more. And we`re selected specially to be in the team, together fighting onak dan duri. But, why this sudden shockness that each of you are unable to give your best commitment? I thought you we used to say "Hidup Mati Dramatis!". Why the sudden say... "We`ll go back to our own path".

Tears may stream. Anytime. I hope we stay together making our dreams alive.

Don`t ever say, "I wanna back out". We were brought here together, to go up again together holding hands, climbing and fighting everything.

This defeat has shown me the best that what actually a team should do when we lost. No matter what, everything has pushes me for another challenge, to make up for the lost.

Fatamorgana, despite tears, fears, joys and cheers, still you`re my evrything.

2ND National Drama Competition was done fairly and superb last Sunday. Sorry for not updating as normally, school has already started and been busy.

We came in 5th/4th runner up. Thanks to Haddad who came in at the last minute, making everything as perfect as ever.

Thank you to everyone who supported us that very special day, espicially the Sang Singa Purba.

And would like to welcome new members of the team,

Nasri, Ilyas, Fazley, Abdul Hakhim, Sharikin, Asri, Hafiz Kamarudin and Insyirah.

Assalamualaikum wrt.

I am updating news about Fatamorgana's performance yesterday at Taman Warisan Melayu. It was the first time Fatamorgana made a performance at a public place. It wasn't easy getting a platform for us to perform. But, we made it all.

Although Ckgu Hasnah and Kak Zalinah told us our penghayatan is not memuaskan , we received compliments and good comments from the audience. Khairul and Efin, from Sang Singa Purba, told me that our show is very good. Adding up, a pelakon from a group(Bangsawan), had complimented that we are very chandi and bring our watak well.
